I’m constantly learning from these cartoons. I knew that in American you use the preposition “on, instead of “at” the weekend. Now I know you use “to” a town instead of “in”…
My uncle once drove to Vegas in a $10,000 car and, after a week of gambling, returned home in a $150,000 bus.
What you lose in Vegas … may be evident when you get home.
In an hour Sims will be asking for a raise.
It was great. I went there in a $30,000 car and came back in a $450,000 bus.

He must have been a high roller. They don’t usually let you keep the barrel. :) :(
