Went to the mailbox one day and wore my light jacket, no gloves, and just a ball cap. By the time I waited on traffic, crossed the highway, got my mail, waited again, crossed again and got back inside I was shivering, badly!
I went on a winter walk with my dog. Going out the wind was with me, while brisk it was not too bad. On the way back into the wind with no scarf it was brutal. I carried the dog back on my shoulders as a scarf.

And when he gets home, he’ll find them in someplace that is so obvious…

Here in Michigan, with a good snow cover, I’ve made trips to the mailbox in shorts, T-shirt, and barefoot. Not recommended for amateurs.

Let’s all go to Yellowstone Park and pet the nice Bison. What could go wrong?

You would think that Jimbo Gumbo, Winter Warrior, would know enough to dress properly.

I once had to scrape ice off a windshield in Alaska, wearing bison fiber knitted gloves. My hands stayed warm!
