Before I realised that an Americano was basically just a coffee without all the extra stuff, whenever I went into a coffee place, I looked at the menu thinking “All I want is a sodding coffee – why is it not listed”

A cup of full fat cream with a jigger of black coffee, please. And don’t forget to scrawl a snarky commentary of the name I gave you. Nothing like starting the day with some Juvenile attitude.

Over many years of service and having to drink instant coffee travelling I actually found that I rather liked Taster’s Choice. So, it was no shock to learn it is in fact the most popular coffee in the world bar none. Now in late retirement I find I prefer it to setting up the coffee maker every time I just want a cup of Joe.

There’s always some nitwit in the crowd….lol
