i don’t remember my high school locker combination because I never used it because it wasn’t convenient to my classes. But I do remember my 1st Junior High locker combination. On 12/17/31 I too will have this day. lol I have no idea why it still sticks in my mind. It’s kind of weird really.
We had lockers but no locks provided – some kids had padlocks with keys, some had combo locks – a lot of us didn’t bother locking them – nothing in them but school books and possibly a jacket – everyone respected each other and thefts were unheard of in our school – class of ’68 – largest class in the school history – 225 students.
That’s me. I can remember things from long ago, but I keep walking around the house looking for something I put down, or randomly walking around but forgetting why. It seems funny, but it’s actually sad.
