If you must do it, six months intervals makes sense. Nothing is saved. Just makeing everyone get up early year round or not makes even more sense.

Had no idea until reading this comic.

The latest iteration was to score free political points for fighting the energy crisis.

Everybody knows it is wrong, but the congress and senate do nothing about it. I’m pretty sure any president would sign the bill.

It’s so you don’t waste early daylight. Get to Work! As a retiree, the clock only matters for doctors appointments, tv schedules are dying from streaming.

I don’t know. People like the sun setting later. I like that. I also like the short days in Winter. I like the changes.

Maybe is the alcohol lobby for that extra hour bars get to stay open ;)

It’s certainly not for the farmers. Farmers have traditionally opposed DST. The world shifts (e.g. what time the produce markets open), but the cows’ milking schedule does not.

The worse part is listening to all the snowflakes whine twice a year.

Not for the kids – it’s darker in the morning which makes it more difficult for school.And hopefully winter’s past since there won’t be sunlight to help warm things up in the morning – or unfreeze roads in areas that still have that.
