There were two astronauts who landed on the moon in 1969 (Armstrong and Aldrin). The third (Collins) remained in lunar orbit, but maybe i am too pedant.

Some people can be hit in the head with the truth, and still it won’t sink in!

“Don’t try to confuse me with the truth. I’ve already made up my mind!”

There’s some folks, God bless ‘em, that aren’t going to believe you, no matter how many facts you present them with.

My grandmother used to say, “Always tell the truth … Nobody’s going to believe you, anyway.”

Even in 1969 people realized that the moon landing would have to be televised or some people, conspiracy people, would claim it did not happen. They did anyhow. The real story is we put men on the moon in the 1960’s, but the first patent for wheels on suitcases arrived in the patent office in 1972.

The best proof of the moon landing comes from The Soviet Union. They never questioned the facts provided by NASA.

Okay folks. We landed 4 astronauts on the moon in 1969. As Renatus Profuturus Frigeridus points out Armstrong and Aldrin with Collins remaining in lunar orbit and Conrad and Bean with Gordon remaining in lunar orbit. Apollo 11 in July ’69 and Apollo ’12 in November ’69.

“Twelve people have walked on Earth’s Moon. The landings took place between July 1969 and December 1972 as part of the United States Apollo program.” From a Google search.
