It’s a lot like driving a car, except that with no weight in the bed, you tend to get stuck in snow easily.

So, he’s not geared up for this……

Oh jeez. If you can chew gum and walk, you can drive a stick. I haven’t driven one in years. I miss it.

The only time I ever drove a stick was once on a farm tractor. The clutch had a travel on it that was a mile long, and it didn’t disengage until the last quarter inch. Ka-CHONK!

If we all just switched to cursive and stick shift cars, we could cripple an entire generation

Of course, he doesn’t.

…is this the arc where Frank swerves hard (to about hitting Bambi out in the road) drives off the road, crashes, and gets rescued by Brandy? Watch and see, I reckon!

I suspect most folks don’t know how to drive a manual transmission these days. I know I had a hell of a time adjusting when I got my first manual transmission car back in the 1980s.

Is this the storyline where Brandy has to rescue Frank?

I had some training as a kid 50 years ago, but never drove one after. I understand the theory, but the coordination you get from practice isn’t there.
