I’m not the friend to myself I told me I’d be. Maybe I’ll be a better drinking partner.

Now that you have the free time, what are you going to do with it?

This is so true! ☺️

That’s a silly waste of time that could be best spent taking a nap.

It’s not that bad.

And that’s why I listen to lots of YouTube.

It’s only in recent years I have become comfortable by myself. While caring for my dying wife, decades ago, I had gotten into the habit of always listening to some kind of radio drama program over the headphones, which I had also connected to my wife’s summoning button.

Now I can hear the bird songs, the ebb and flow of traffic throughout the day, and sometimes the sound of surf a couple of miles away. I can also hear my cat’s quiet hello meow when I call her; I had never realized she did “answer up”.

Silence won’t kill you but it also won’t fill you.

Time to yourself never sucks!

That being said, I have a brother who practically can’t go around the corner without a zoo full of friends. He’s the only extrovert in the family – my other 2 sibs & I are hardcore introverts.

Maybe you’re not doing it right.

I LOVE time to myself. I am very social in general, while playing soccer, at work, with extended family, etc. But I cherish the infrenquent times when I have solitude. I am never bored in those situations.

I never go full vegetable. Me time is for reading or watching an old favorite movie.

Hit that pillow, chicken!!!
