My sis’s boss Lou is a perfect gentleman. When sis gets up from the easy chair, he takes her place in the warm spot, but when she returns, he moves back to his usual place on the arm. He’s definitely not a lap cat – he’s what sis calls a “human-adjaent cat,” because he leans on her arm & occasionally wraps his tail around it. He does affection on his own terms…
Fluffy has her own chair, complete with afghan and toys. But nooooooooooooooooooo! I get on the couch and she’s there behind me head butting my backside until I move. :)
