My husband only shaves for work and whenever there’s a special event, like a wedding or birthday party. Other days, he won’t and I don’t make him.

I have gone through periods from clean-shaven to full-on Grizzly Adams and pretty much everything in between. The past few years it’s beard, but neatly trimmed. My wife has kept her opinions to herself (mostly).

I have had a beard of some design (now full, but neatly trimmed) for more than 55 years. It covers my weak chin and, truthfully, Ihave no idea what I would look like without one. I try not to think about it.

I hope that’s a two-way street.

I shave by choice and not by direction…….

Hubby quit shaving during Covid and now has a handsome white beard. He gets it trimmed once a month when we get our hair done.
