Nah, that’s easy. Birthday person always gets to choose for their special day. Other than that, just keep track (even better, make a note on the calendar) of who picked the place last time, & take turns choosing.
I used to know a woman who was so picky, she would not even eat Her Own Cooking.
Literally. She once showed up at a potluck and asked someone else to taste what she brought to see if it was OK because she Hated that dish with a passion.
