nah, kids homework nowadays don’t include plus and minus – now it’s sales, divorce settlements and in rare occasions integrals and derivatives.

Never mix calculus and alcohol. Don’t drink and derive.

I’m trying to figure out why differential calculus is easier than integral calculus.

One plus one is one problem.

When I see the answers some people leave for these problems, makes me want to shout at them

How much is 2 + 2?

Accountant: 4

Engineer (old school moving slide rule): 3.98, we’ll call it 4.

Carpenter: 3 feet 11 31/32 inches.

Lawyer: How much do you want it to be?

GOP: The libs say it’s 4, but we’re still recounting and auditing.

GOP Florida: That’s woke math!

I never made it to calculus. Algebra defeated me.

It cracks me up seeing these click-bait articles along the lines of “Readers can’t agree on the answer to this super-tricky math question.” And the “super-tricky” math question is something like:

9 x (2+5) + 3^4 – (4/2+7)

There is only ONE correct answer. But only people who remember the correct hierarchy of operations get that answer.
