They have well tuned ears and will hear that first crumb three rooms away.

Next time, softer cookie.

They can hear you rustle the package.

So many of my cats loved Flamin’ Hot Cheetos.

Crumbs, there’s going to be some fur in the bed…

Tell them they can’t have any because the cookies have chocolate in them.

All animals have a keen sense of smell and hearing. You’ll never be able to fool your fur-babies. Nice try though, Kate.

Never underestimate an animals hearing.

Shawm’s appearance made me break out in a big smile.

Some or all of my 4 cats would be on my bed, or windowsill on top of the radiator, or in heated kitty bed(s) on the floor or, etc, etc.

Are afraid that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

How the heck did she keep that thing in one piece under her pillow? ;-)

This also happens with kids if you are trying to sneak a treat.

A dog’s nose is an incredible thing. Mine smelled a bunny nest from at least two blocks away. The babies were covered up. She slipped her leash two blocks ahead, so I don’t know how long she had been smelling them. No babies were harmed. I was right behind her and all she did was smell them. We then took a different walking route for about two months, and she didn’t try to get to them again.
