Kick it under the fridge…

I pick it up and put it in the sink where it dies a slow death.

You can let the ice cube evaporate on its own? I never even thought of that.

I use to have a dachshund, to whom the randomly dropped ice cube was a treat. He was born near Las Vegas, so I understand.

How about D: Kick it towards a person you don’t like, for them to step on? Next best thing to a banana peel. ;)

If a certain cat is in the room he will snag it before it hits the floor. If he is within hearing it hit the floor he will be there in seconds to run off with it. If he hasn’t had one in a while he will sit in front of the fridge and meow until someone takes pity on the poor creature and gets on for him.

I keep my hockey stick around for just such an emergency.

I pick it up, rinse it off and use it

If you leave with three Havanese, it is pretty rare for anything edible to actually make it to the floor. I spilled a whole take out container full of rice, covering about 3X5 feet when it scattered on the floor, and it was gone within two minutes.

I let my cats lap it up off the floor

I push it under something and leave it to evaporate, but it’s because I’m ambitious to do something that won’t take care of itself.

Same with shoveling the snow. If it’s still there the end of May, I’ll worry about it.
