Well I guess as the vice mayor, Elburt Two Times probably makes an effective “Hype Man” for Mayor Melba.
But he’s certainly no genius. Time to advance the storyline, advance the storyline.

It’s a full slate of classics for the 16th: Walt and Phyllis get caught in Holiday Weekend traffic, even without leaving town. Deuces is going to look sooooo dumb holding that giant key, when the welcoming committee gets word that the governor isn’t appearing. Tornado activates his mutant growing powers, just in case the man on the fire escape has trouble in mind for Brenda. I wonder if this is the same 1¢ clock that li’l Skeezix got on a “buy one for a dollar, get another for one cent” sale I recall not too long ago from the now-1930 storyline.
