When you’re wearing rose-colored glasses, all the red flags look just like flags.

I once saw John Conlee in a truck stop in Georgia, he was wearing rose colored glasses.

I remember a lovely old Lady whom I saw every so often in the Canford Park in Bristol (UK) in autumn ’89. She always wore rose coloured glasses. I guess she was not used to small town girls with a somehow good upbringing, because she always seemed irritated that I greeted her when we walked by. I found it a bid odd back then with her glasses, matching her light pink coat, hat and handbag. But now- how lovely that she wore something what seemed to make her feel better and she seemed to find beautiful. Now I admire the memory of her.

I do believe it is only a metaphor.

There was a time I wore tinted glasses. But, I was always afraid I would make a spectacle of myself….

A türd is still a türd no matter what color your glasses are.

The depiction of the landscape reminds me of Charles Dickens’ novels.

You see what you look for. If you look for ugliness, you will find ugliness. If you look for beauty and goodness and kindness, you will find those things. You can especially find them if you create them.

Rose colored glasses make it look like the Sun turned to blood. According to the nuns who taught me that’s not a good thing.

Maybe if your glasses are rose-colored because they contain rosé wine?
