I don’t see any difference from real life. Most search results from all search engines are weighted to the progressive left. Garbage in – garbage out. Conservatives expect it. That’s why we understand all Lefty arguments and Lefties are clueless about our’s.

What? Is this more grievance about how virtually every tool just reveals the incompetence and moral degenercy of conservatives?

Ask Gemini to show you a picture of any person. . A Viking, a pope, a founding father, a Scandinavian, an African king, a mongol, a Samoan. . .and it spits out an ethnically diverse image but will not show caucasians.

Nothing new, The search engine has always been biased as well. Just Google “shoplifter image” and you’ll see photo after photo of lily white people.

ALL CREDIBILITY IS LOST WHEN THE WORD “WOKE” APPEARS IN ANYTHING. USULY THE PERSON USING IS THE JERK.

Ramirez need to learn the definition of “woke”. It is not what he appears to think it is!

AI can spot lies and refuses to pass them through. Who knew?

Or maybe “GOBBLER” for the way they gobbled up the competition.

OK. I read up on this and I’ve reached two conclusions. 1) The right does not understand computers or AI. 2) The right will weaponize anything.

Case in point. This story is not new. Over the past years researchers in AI have noticed that AI models are biased against brown people. Ask it to produce a picture of a janitor and you always get an Hispanic or Black man. Ask it for a picture of a cop and you get a white guy. That had implications for things like identifying criminals, screening people for loans or diagnosing disease.

You’ll notice the right had nothing to say about that.

So the AI engineers try to correct that and they get multiracial Nazis (I actually find that hysterical. Hitler would poop himself.). All of which goes to show AI is a work in progress.

BUT… the right can’t let this go without using it to make a stupid and unfounded “point”. IT’S WOKE! Yes, the unobtainium of modern conservative politics (we don’t know what it is, we can’t define it, but we’ll mine it for all we’re worth). See what happens when you let WOKE! in. Of course, they won’t mention what happens when you let AI teach itself. We keep trying to make AI in our image and it becomes a bigot because we’re bigots.

But that’s too nuanced for the right.

Google introduced the image generator earlier this month through Gemini, the company’s main group of AI models. The tool allows users to enter prompts to create an image. Over the past week, users discovered historical inaccuracies that went viral online, and the company pulled the feature last week, saying it would re-launch it in the coming weeks. Yup. Got caught. Had to back down. Typical liberal crap.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste!!
