“Shameless Engineer! Did you know that we have made a Pact with the Donut People? They will no longer be sending Envoys to you to negotiate for cessation of hostilities…”

    “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!”

Lazy rule breaker liar Cliff thinks he deserves special treatment, just like a republican.

You can’t shame him for something he’s proud of.

Reminds me of an Architect I worked with. Had zero shame as well.

A perfect model for a civil servant, he made it clear he was in charge, while not being responsible for anything.

Communication to others, the design team, had to go through him to be valid, even if he never read it, or engaged with it in any way.

He was the kind of person who unless he explicitly agreed to anything, had agreed to nothing. On the flip side, if you didn’t disagree with him, he was clear that you had agreed with him!

He spoke in riddles, and never said what he meant, or meant what he said.

He was supposed to be a site architect, but never visited nor was interested in what happened on site, nor was he interested in or engaged with the architectural design. Or any other design.

He had a team of people nominally under him, that he was in charge of, but washed his hands of responsibility for.

I won’t say his nationality, but let’s say it was Iberian, and not from Spain or Andorra.

He’s now pretending to be a design manager in Saudi Arabia, and no doubt continuing to be utterly useless there as well.
