Never had this problem with my kids. You did your homework first. And WE checked it. If you didn’t stay in the B or A arena, you were grounded from friends (phones) till you got the grade up. I know, to a lot of you parents that sounds so horrible. But guess what, all 4 of my kids are professionals, 3 in Medicine and 1 Engineer. All paid for their own college, no payments from me and no student loans.

Since a day apparently passes when they switch spots on the couch, they could stop doing that and delay their exams indefinitely.

I like that bag of potato chips labelled “Mr. Chips” . I wonder if that goes to Washington?

Thanks everybody yesterday for the well wishes! I got 90% on the first half, but I’m still waiting for the grade on my essay questions. fingers crossed

I found the best way to study for finals began on the first day. Review the notes of the day, do any homework. At the end of the week review the weeks’ notes, work on any projects…. And review any tests or quizzes that we were allowed to keep. Kept me from having to deal with the dysfunction going on around me.

Cue the Europe song.
