I would have sent them to Wren’s room so they could get her back to sleep.

My oldest daughter use to sabotage me. Except it wasn’t a nap. I would have my youngest right on the verge of going to sleep for the night, and my oldest would come down the hall from her room sounding like an elephant. I once told her she had the worst timing in the world.

When our older daughter was a baby we had an upstairs neighbor who vacuumed a lot. One time she asked us if it bothered the baby, if we wanted her to not vacuum so often. We told her that we can’t tell her what to do in her own home; the baby will just have to adapt. “The baby” is 21 now and can sleep through just about anything.

Oh, I’m sorry! I forgot this was the No Fun Zone… Ugh!

If they woke the baby, Wanda may use those baseball bats in an off label manner.

Must have been extra tough getting Wren down for her nap. And why not as she likely wanted to celebrate with big brother or comfort him.

At least we know that Wren knows the turnout of the game now.

They won the battle, but not the war.

Our kids were up and running wide open at the crack of dawn, so by the afternoon, we were ready for them to take nap.

Way to be supportive Wanda ……… Not!

And suddenly Wren goes from a 2yr toddler to a crying infant. Toddlers sleep thru EVERYTHING but the soft crinkle of a new package of cookies being opened.

After all that work getting Wren to sleep, the guys are probably lucky that Wanda only sent them outside.

Wren has a strange way of expressing her enthusiasm.

Getting my daughter to be quiet around her baby brother after he’s born is going to be a balancing act, I’m sure…
