But back in the 50s-70s, new models were always shown by nubile young things.

See? They’re exorbitant these days; back then they were just expensive. Clearly this is a direct cause-effect of modern feminism!

    Srsly, is the /s necessary?

Sounds like an early iteration of modern car pricing.

    Exorbitant?

Isn’t that one of those “preservatives” they use in processed foods?

I’ve always said that a product advertised as “New and Improved” actually is… for the Manufacturer. (Usually less or cheaper product for more money…)

In the sixties, watching the DINAH SHORE SHOW, would always watch in September when the new Chevys were shown, Wanted to see the new styles foe the year. Before Mercedes introduced the bath tub models, after that the entire world thought that was the look…terrorist use them for bombs, that and Toyotas, so the autobody design all went brain dead, and that’s why our cars all look alike. Except for Crysler, I personnally hate the company, Lee had a better idea, but they do design so nice looking vehicles. @2 years they are junk oil burners. Tank you Iococca!
