Oh ok that’s why people say that windmills make noise

Sadly, with people tied to the blades, they don’t turn as fast.

Not a totally bad idea. Of course you can’t have the people on the blades, but you could have a chain drive to the rider’s wheel. That would allow for a clutch, so you can stop the passenger wheel for loading while the windmill continues to turn. It would also allow for the addition of a continuously variable transmission, which would give speed control for the passenger wheel (it could be controlled by governor operating off the windmill itself.

Good idea, the birds and bats will bounce right off. Except for the ones that go into those wide open mouths.

Must be a particularly windy day.

The windmills I’ve seen don’t go that fast.

Hopefully they are wearing hearing protection because the noise that windmills make causes cancer.

That ride idea isn’t all that far off from what some rides at the amusement parks do.
