There is a store in Boston that does exactly this. Though I believe they also handle electric typewriters. Stays fairly busy.

Finding people who can repair anything is tricky these days.

Got an IBM selectric in the back somewhere, with some spare ribbons and print balls?
There was a time when computers and typewriters were used side by side in offices. I’m wondering if they still are, in cases where email just won’t do. Or, like the rotary phone, have they been phased out completely?
