Free verse should be fine. It doesn’t require a license. There’s no syntax or meter required. And there’s no rhyme (or reason).

He’s been ABAB boy!
Sounds like a poetry slam failure.
A rhyme crime.
Surprised he didn’t revoke it.
He could write vogon poetry.
Maybe you can do haikus instead.
“Oh fudge” said the judge when the poet asked if he had a grudge against grunge!
He’ll be serving time in concrete poetry.
“Your Honor, verse must be free.”
Could have been verse.
