In a contest between my nanna and King Kong, the big ape would not have had a fighting chance. She was five feet nothing and weighed about 90 pounds soaking wet with a rock in her pocket, but though, “she be little, she was fierce!”
Define “ripe.”

They’re plenty ripe… if they were real bananas, you’d be making banana bread out of ‘em right about now.

I wonder if calling one’s grandmother “Nana” is a regional thing. I never heard it until I was well into adulthood.
One grandmother died before I was born. The other was always “Grandma”.

They probably should peel out of there.
