I know there are more questions than answers, but Alice is getting carried away.

All this talking is making Petey lose his appetite. Alice is the Cul de Sac (town) Crier, and she has enough drama and adventure for both of them. Petey probably would have thrived during Covid lockdowns, and he could have avoided Ernesto all together; but then again, he would have to deal with Alice bouncing off the walls.

Yesterday, last panel; Alice, sounding like an over educated philosophy major, was using phrases like, “human drama” and “tiny airless room”; today, a question-like verbal stream from an excited little girl! Will the real, authentic Alice please stand up?

The occasionally irksome child habit of inflicting a question like raise in voice at the end of statements, that is what is vexing Petey.
