Men doing women’s gymnastics would be an awesome spectacle. I was a high school gymnast and us guys never quite mastered the simple art of walking from one end of the balance beam to the other.
Setting aside the judged events (those only leads to argument), I think there are several sports where a woman or woman’s team can hit the “any given day” level of parity with men or men’s teams. Off the top of my head, the first such sports that come to mind are volleyball, bowling, shooting, curling, and long-distance swimming.
Of those, I believe that women consistently outperform men in long-distance swimming and some shooting events.
If all other aspects of the sport are equal, anything where finesse can overcome strength and speed. Not saying men cannot use intellect and finesse as well, but when those are the primary elements that lead to a victory, then the playing field is much more evenly matched for the top level athletes of either of the two genders and the outcome will tend to be based on which participant is better at that element of the competition.
How about Men’s Gymnastics with weight divisions. The light weights would be the show off division. The heavy weights would have to “make weight” and not be taken seriously.

Except the uneven bars. That torso bounce off the lower bar would be painful for guys!

Didn’t Billie Jean King beat a man who made a similar statement as Tank’s question.

I wonder how Tank would fit into that tiny leotard.

Except it would become like figure skating, smaller males with the better muscle fibre would begin to dominate and could do the same routines.

Younger me was a pretty good hockey goalie, but there was one practice where I filled in for the women and they beat me a lot.

I’m not sure the standard balance beam would be able to hold Tank. Might need some kind of reinforced model.

Every individual dressage medal in the past six Olympics, and every gold in that event in the past nine, was won by a woman.

Best rock climbers are women.

A little off topic, but I don’t see why women aren’t embarassed by the existence of a women’s chess World Championship.
