I wouldn’t be surprised if this were taken from real life. My wife did tech support for a TV/internet service at one time, she was surprised at the amount of ignorance out there. One guy called in saying he couldn’t get his computer to turn off. She told him to push and hold the button for 5 seconds. He did and it turned off.
The number of idiotic questions you get about computers is epic. You all know the one about “Press any key” – “I can’t find the Any key”, but there are sooooo many more.I often feel that there should be a ‘driving license’ type of test so demonstrate that no, you are not actually too stupid to use a computer. Granted, a number of the questions come under the “I understand you may not have known that one”, but a lot aren’t and should have been obvious. Geff0811’s example is understandable. It’s not known to everyone that sometimes you have to do a hard reset (or pull the plug out)
No problem. There will be several groups of lawyers that will sue somebody for the problem real soon. Lawyers were doing well for many years. Now, some have returned to the cesspool with the other bottom dwellers.
While a solar flare (or, more likely, an Earth-aimed coronal mass ejection) can cause a satellite TV interruption, every spring and fall “solar outages” occur when the sun, the satellite, and your satellite antenna come into alignment. Your TV provider’s website should predict these outages for your location.

Just wait for the sun to “burn” out.

Since he’s lounging around in his underwear (though the “T”- shirt is slightly incorrect) his next step should be to blame Biden…

Might help if you plugged in an antenna or cable box. Well at least he plugged the power cord in.
