Permanent move has resurfaced!

Does Ludwig understand Pig Latin? He’s certainly listening.

No planning needed, the squatters will take care of the place.

With the way people specialize these days they’re going to need a house sitter, a pet sitter and a landscaper.

The trouble with pig Latin is you start to sound like a Canadian, eh? Over here I’d use Cockney rhyming slang, backslang, or just my English regional accent (although nobody would understand that last one).

I swear my dogs and cats talk to me. Other pet owners know what I mean.

Our “big move” (2 hours by car) my elderly cat traveled in a carrier. Easy-peasy, so long as I petted her through the grating every few minutes.

Any time we put the ate-cray within reach for a trip to the et-vay, our cats are under the beds for days.

What happened to Janis’ neighborhood friend, Robin?

If you travel now days it might be good to have a house sitter just make sure they don’t claim it as theirs with squatter rights.

We will be travelling a lot this Spring/Summer and have made a deal with the neighbors that if they look after the watering when we’re away they get lots of the produce.

Didn’t have to use pig latin with my cat. He would pace, drool, yowl and scream in my ear no matter what I did. He always liked it when we arrived at the cabin though.

We stayed at a motel in Forsyth, Montana. The sign at the office said “Dogs $10/night. Cats $100/night”

Animals do pick up on words.

So is this the real start of their moving to the coast plan?

Getting to the point with our old guy, 22 now, that even a day out doing errands is worrisome let alone leaving him with a sitter for days. He’s pretty set in his ways.
