I got a photo proof of delivery a little while back. Only problem was the package was delivered to the wrong house. When I called, I was told we have photo proof of delivery. I said, yes, but the picture isnât of my home, but someone elseâs. I donât know where the package is, only that it is not at MY house. After a few minutes of arguing, I said, I have security camera footage that proves nobody came to the door of my home when the package was delivered.
There was a big sigh and I was told, âWeâll check into it.â After a few hours, the driver showed up at the house and threw the package towards the front door. By this time I was irked so I went down to the office with the damaged package and showed the manager the footage of the driver throwing the thing. The manager turned an interesting shade of purple and muttered something about being sorry. Turns out he didnât want to say anything to his driver who is also his brother.
Fortunately the contents of the package werenât damaged. Havenât seen that driver again.
Amazonâs been doing that lately I noticed. My USPS mail carrier knows to toss the package over the gate next to the mailbox and she usually leaves a smiley on the box. Sheâs a sweetheart.

Shouldnât there be an odor proof lock box so the porch pirates wonât steal it? (Or perhaps the parents-to- be are hoping they will?)

What a bird-brain. The phone is at the wrong angle to get a picture of the baby.
