Back in the 60’s the elderly couple across the road installed a garage door opener. For the rest of us it was what manner of sorcery is this? Turns out, planes flying overhead would trigger the door because the radio frequencies were the same.
Yesterday, I went out into the garage to shut the light. When I went out there again a few hours later the light was still on but the garage door was open.
Years ago, when Air Force One would land at the local Air Force Base, there would be a surge of calls to the remote control garage door repair shops because the electronics in the air plane would trigger a lot of the local garage door openers. ;-D

And some lady from Germany called. She said “Stop that.”

Luckily our garage door opener looks nothing like the tv remote.

In that time, a gaze of raccoons have occupied the garage.
