You can tell Lewis and Fry don’t actually know French. They forgot the accents, and what’s more, they’ve used the wrong word. “Touché, mon tortue. Touché.” Natural French would use the more specific word, not the vague and general “reptile”.

There does not appear to be an actual product called ‘Ferti-lively.’. There is a ‘Ferti-lily,’ but it’s a very different category altogether.
