First thing came to me was the song, The Impossible Dream.

My dreams are more intense with a small sip of cough syrup at bedtime. The ones with alcohol.

They told Me to follow my dreams. I went back to bed.

Deam, Dream, Drea,

When I want you, in my arms

Whenever I want you, all I have to do is dream….

Dream on!

Someday we’ll find it, the rainbow connection

The lovers, the dreamers, and me

Is the joke promoting dreams, or Public television?

Why am I reminded of the line, “The following program is paid for by viewers like you.”

Dream a little dream of me…

I remember reading that there’s (at least) one folk culture in Southeast Asia that believes that dreams control waking life. Therefore, they believe that if you have a bad dream, you should deliberately return to it on another night and manipulate it to a positive conclusion.
