No, she can’t. Try to get your parents to send you to a boys’ boarding school.

My wife frequently tells me what I’m thinking. It usually surprises me. (And, frankly, I wish she’d spend less time deciding what is going on in my mind.)

After many decades of practice, many have perfected the art of disdainful breathing. I can personally attest to it. Regularly. Constantly. Incessantly. Endlessly….

Speaking of being annoying, is anyone else seeing a constant “ReCaptcha” Logo in the lower right corner?

For some time now, if I tried to sign in “too fast”, I’d get an error that ReCaptcha Verification failed. I’d wait a few seconds and try again, mostly successfully. But yesterday, I couldn’t get past the error, no matter how long I tried. On my Android Phone, also Firefox, it gave me the error once, then let me past. Based on the fact that, after I installed Opera on my Desktop, I got right in, I’d say ReCaptcha doesn’t like Firefox. Late yesterday, my Desktop was letting me in again with Firefox, but that Logo is now always there, and this morning, the error came back again until I waited a few seconds and tried again… ☹︎

Seriously, I worked for a short time, for a very irritable engineer. I was having a bad hay fever day. He told me he didn’t like the way I was breathing. (That little comment ended up costing him thousands of dollars.)

I remember being at a concert once and the fellow behind me tapped me on the shoulder and said “I can hear your breathing.” I apologized and told him I’d hold my breath for the 2nd half.

When I was a small kid my father had a book with various cartoons in it, and one had two people with the caption “well, pardon me for breathing, I didn’t know this air was reserved for Congress only” and the other character did reply, but I don’t recall the response. i loved the comment, even though I had no idea who or what Congress was (I am English).
