Seriously folks always check around your car before driving off-seen too many toddlers in ICU or funeral homes run over by someone backing out of the driveway and not verifying where the kids were. Same goes for letting the kids ride on the lawn tractor with dad or grandpa-nothing quite like having an extremity chopped up by a mower blade or a body crushed under the wheels. (25 years’ experience working in a pediatric ICU, I don’t remember names but can sure recall the injuries (and deaths) caused by adult negligence or in some cases plain stupidity.
