Close. I actually photographed mine on a homecoming parade float about 4 years before we ever met. I knew her Sister through mutual friends and met my future Wife when in a local club where she was with said sister. I asked her out to a movie, we started seeing each other just about every day, and a month later I proposed and a week later we were married. Almost 38 years……sigh

Nope did not do this one …. So we take a pass;-)

Met trophy wife in high school but didn’t marry her!

I met my wife on a school bus in 1975. She was going out with some drip at the time. From 1976 until her passing in 2023, we were inseparable.

Another Plugger fail. I guess I should just give up on it.

Met my trophy wife just after she started college. Married her after she graduated. 18 years married now. (we both forgot our anniversary this year!)

I met my trophy wife my junior year of college.

I met mine on a ‘blind date’ in college—best date I ever had ! ! ! !

Just celebrated 57 years since our 1st date and 53 years married in 3 weeks.

She is still my lovely bride.

I did, and on Aug. 3rd we will celebrate our 67th wedding anniversary!

Didn’t know anyone hunted chickens. Thought you just walked up to them and grabbed their legs while they sat on the roast or in the nest.

Yes I did, at a dance after a football game in 1977. We will be married 44 years this September.

from what I’ve seen, dogs love chickens!

That’s because every player on the championship football team had a day with her. :)

I met my trophy husband at work – 40 years ago.

Met my wife in an Army school in 1982. I was one of two Marines in the class. First saw her 30 April. First date/dance on 14 May to a great AC/DC cover band. Proposed eight days later on 22 May. On 11 June we had a big test that morning . . . and then got married that afternoon with a Green Beret chaplain officiating (they shared a joke on the alter noting I was a “leg” — she too had graduated the Army’s Airborne course, one of the first women to do so!). In 10 days we’ll celebrate 42 years !!! Man, I should have taken bets with all those who thought (& some that said) it wouldn’t last.

Here I thought they met on that “Plenty of Fish” site.

MINE AND I HAVE BEEN MARRIED 53 YEARS, AND KNOWN EACH OTHER SINCE 15, I JUST WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO SEE IT THEN.

I was in 11th and she was in 10th!

I went to my second wife’s 50th high school reunion. She was 24 years older than I (amazing woman). I was the trophy husband. :)

We met in a college swimming class!

September 23, 1970- a bar in my hometown. I had graduated from college and got an ROTC commission, so I was waiting to be called up. I was doing all right on a gen 1 video game. I heard a voice behind me say “you are really good at that game!” I turned around, made a casual remark and introduced myself. Long story short, I have been married to that girl for 52 years this coming August. Lucky dog? I KNOW I am one!

Met husband in college. We were in a class together and his girlfriend was on the yearbook with me. Knew each other a year and a half before we started dating. Dated for 4 years. Engaged for 2 years. Bets at the wedding that the marriage would finish the progression and only last a year. Will be married 45 years this summer.
