Amelia: “I’ve looked over his shoulder to copy off answers, too. Believe me, you’re not going to be acing any tests this time, Spuddy-wuddy.”

Spud, don’t do it! Mrs. Macintosh is going to know instantly because those answers are pure Wallace!

“This feels wrong,” Spud mused as he looked at the paper.

“First time looking at someone else’s homework, huh?”

“No… Wallace has Robert E. Lee as the President of the Confederate States. I’m pretty sure it was someone else… Lincoln?”

Seagull is watching this all unfold quietly like usual.

Spud ought to just write a short essay on the power of cat videos. I’m sure Mrs. Mac will understand.

Do kids even take the bus to school any more..?

Hey all – just curious. As I understand it, Amelia is “the new girl.” Was there ever a back story explaining where she came from?

Very wrong. Don’t do it, Spud!

Some kids would copy other kid’s homework for various reasons, not always nefarious (dishonesty, for example). I once let a fellow student copy my answers because she batted her eyelashes at me. :D

Of course Amelia has been listening in to all of this.

I’m not sure whether Spud feels that copying homework is wrong, or that Wallace‘s answers are wrong.

I’m sure he’s talking about the answers. :)

Poor Spud. He has Amelia who apparently copies other people’s homework, and Wallace who has his “Wallace take” on things. He needs Rose’s help!
