From a large Germanic family. Child=Kind, and the final d has a distinct t sound. Plus we were constantly climbing on top of everything, and eating most everything in sight.
Remembering the earlier strip, when Syrius mentioning he is not sure “if he is coming or going” at around sixth grade when I was 11 or 12 I could not understand the aversion other children had at being called “children” instead of “kids” by a teacher. It meant the same thing.

My sister has five does and borrowed a buck in the fall. The mamas had: 2 pairs of twins, 2 singles, and 1 set of triplets. 9 bouncy little kids, lol
