Well, you should have built a very shallow ramp up and over your house, probably with some water and lettuce (or whatever these tortoises like to eat) growing alongside. You could probably have gotten a multi-billion dollar grant from the government (because it’s not their money!!!)

When someone was to slow, my ol’ Grampa used to say “Yep, they took off faster than herd of turtles!”

So, round ‘em up, Bleeb, and corral them dogies!

That would be so cool!

In Guelph, Ontario, Canada, squatters protested development on land where Jefferson Salamanders MIGHT live. Turns out , there was NEVER any sighting of a Jefferson Salamander in that area. After a couple months they were booted off the land.

It’s turtles all the way down.

“Look out, they’re coming right tortoise!!”

Isn’t this the kind of thing that environmental impact reports are supposed to know?

Anytime you see a turtle on top of a fence post, you know he had some help.
