I always respond to climate change! In winter, I wear warm clothes and put flannel sheets on my bed and eat more soup. I complain about how cold it is but look forward to Christmas. In summer, I put lighter sheets on my bed, I wear capris and tees and complain about how hot and humid it is but of course, look forward to my vacation! Oh, and in spring, I look forward to Easter and in Fall, I grab pumpkin spice stuff and look forward to Thanksgiving!
Climate change is here. While we argue about whether it’s caused by industrialization we are not planning to deal with its effects.
Ironically, Florida, the state with the most to lose by rising sea levels (daily flooding in Miami and lots more on the way), has banned the term “Climate Change” or “Global Warming” from all official state documents. They reason that if you deny something, it won’t happen.
Any policy on the issue needs to address two points: abatement and adaptation.
I suggest that the United States look to the Netherlands to protect cities like New Orleans, Miami and New York.

Pray for acceptance of contraception. I keep seeing news stories about desperate single mothers with 7 children.
