Oh Elly. This is normal clingy child behavior. April is acting just like a regular little girl. They do this sort of thing all the time and you should not be concerned that she has never done this before in the last 4 years. She is just at the right age to decide that she wants to be attached to your body 24/7. Think nothing of it.

    I have a Doberman like that. There’s a reason they’re called Velcro dogs…

I don’t understand why they didn’t take her to see a therapist after everything happened. It’s obviously a reflection of the event.

Velcro Companies legal department wants a word with you. Velcro is a registered brand name. It’s Hook and Loop.(Google “Don’t Say Velcro” – the video is fun to watch!)

Better yet, call it a static cling day.

Having a small child hanging onto you while you’re ironing doesn’t seem like a good idea. Elly should set a chair nearby & put April on the chair

Aristotle once said “Happiness is an activity”. Get some markers and paper lunch bags and make some puppets already!

Lynn’s Comments: Amongst my readers, “Velcro Day” became a popular saying for a while. I often wondered what the inventors of Velcro would have thought of it!

I think she’s still traumatized from falling in the river and adjusting to life without Farley.
