There was a reason he was supposed to be eating light ice cream.

Well whipped cream sure is light-weight, and a maraschino cherry doesn’t weigh much, but depending on the number of peanuts you use, they may weigh several ounces or a pound or two onto the ice cream’s weight!

You forgot the banana.

I can see why!!

Brutus, like me, is a man of simple pleasures. By eating light ice cream he can indulge himself with more of the toppings.

At that point it just had to be cold.

About the only nuts I can stand in ice cream is pecans. Butter Pecan ice cream is the best.

Great thing about ice cream IS its ability to be improved with toppings, especially hot fudge, caramel and strawberry preserves, a favourite of mine. AND a cookie or two on the side, just for appearance sake of course……

The Maraschino cherry is so he doesn’t get scurvy.

Should have just loaded up a bowl with toppings and put a little light ice cream on top.

Here in Robeson County N.C. Homemade Grape ice cream is the hit from May day past Labor day. And Collard sandwiches. Two pieces Fried Cornbread with fried Fat Back meat and heaping amount of fried Collards to make sandwich. Top of the world eats. Country people know how to eat cheap and good.

Nutty Buddy ice cream cones are great. But not real ice cream. Why they really don’t melt. Goggle it.

Ha! My wife has us making turkey or chicken “Burgers” instead of beef. I will infuse my patty with grated cheese and then cheese on top then a boat load of mayonnaise. Not bad at All!

After years of having to make “adjustments” to Gladys’s cooking to make it edible, Brutus is on autopilot when food is placed in front of him.

Let’s just say it needed a little help.

He must not be able to get Blue Bell No Sugar-Added Ice Cream. It’s pretty good.
