The paint Kate is using really exists. Beam Paints are made on Manitoulin Island, Ontario, with entirely natural pigments and binders. They are the best watercolors I’ve ever used and all of my original drawings are colored with them.
I love it that Kate doesn’t seem to mind not being invited (altho being invited to create decorations for a party she’s not invited to…how much is she charging?)
I used to say that when I retired, I would take watercolor classes. Looking at the Beam Paints website makes me want to embrace that plan again! I was an Art History major in college but wasn’t a very good artist, sad to say.
