So, no more street hustling, eh?

Always a good strip when Betty is sad.

Nope; pick out a corner but be prepared to defend it.

I like to work up to a purposeful amble when crossing the street. When I’m not actually walking ‘in’ the street.

Too many jiggling places?

Arthritis. Joint pain. Extra pounds.

Now if she was in Oregon, most people would stop their cars about half way up the block, before she even got to the corner. The law says to stop if a person is IN a crosswalk. Of course, there are people that are too important to ever stop.

It’s hard to run the older you get.

No, if your hustling across the street days were over, you wouldn’t have been in the last panel!!

Yes, the time has come to not put oneself in a position to have to hustle.

I have to cross a street section that has a 3 way stop (fourth actually belongs to a complex). I refuse to cross unless there’s no vehicles. And yes, I have waited a few minutes before I felt safe enough to cross.
