If they’d negotiated to release the hostages those casualties would still be alive.

Hamas knew what the response would be when they murdered those people. They were not blind. Why did they want to bring that upon the Palestinian populace?

Hamas’s strategy from the beginning was to maximize non – combattant casualties. Every orphan, every maimed child, every widow is a victory for them. They firmly believe that the liberation of Palestine is more important than the lives of individuals. They are prepared to die for the cause and have no compunction about turning civilians into shahidim without their consent. After all, their lives in Gaza were worthless, and they will be rewarded in the next world for their martyrdom.

Four hostages rescued, 273 civilians killed, over 400 wounded, no evidence of any Hamas terminated, the operation is nothing to be proud of.

Murdering 700 civilians and 3 hostages to “rescue” people about to be freed anyway was witnessed by whole world !

This latest ‘war’ of a conflict centuries old was instigated by Netanyahu by his treatment of Palestinians, violation of agreements made since 1948, and knowledge of how to get the terrorist Hamas to commit their terrorist acts. Hamas took the bait.

If this war was as it appears on the surface, terrorists attacking Israeli citizens and using Palestinians as shields and for hiding, then the response should have been for a special forces type operation infiltrating with small teams to target the terrorists and not the population. Eliminating the terrorist Hamas was never Netanyahu’s plan nor desire. Conquering and wiping out Gaza to make new settlements and minimalizing Palestinians is.

Those are Hamas numbers not Israel.

Hamas does not actually care about civilian casualties. The only thing Hamas is worried about when it comes to civilian deaths is to make sure they get a video of it so they can callously use the images as P.R. against Israel. Their fanatical dogma and perpetuating the fight are all that they care about.

I speculate that if Israel hadn’t been fired upon during their retreat after liberating the hostages, I doubt there would have been any casualties.

Hamas could save a whole lot of people is the shot all the hostages and gave the bodies back to Israel. A lot of Media coverage about the Hamas hostages…. And next to none about ALL (thousands evidently) Palestinians thrown in Israeli prisons.

Yeah, Hamas is bad. We get it. Too bad Israel propped them up for more than a decade.

Incredible the blatant antisemitism among the lefties and their support of the Hamas mission to eradicate Israel and genocide the Jewish people. What’s sad is that some of them have military backgrounds and should know better.

Hamas would never kill 200+ people simply to save 4 hostages. Need proof? Just last October they killed more than 200 with no intent to rescue any hostages at all.

And how many hostages are left unaccounted for? And why did all of this happen? And you continue to watch your world dissolve due to pride and ego.
