They don’t want to solve problems. The Repubs want Trump because they want to increase tax cuts for their donors and reduce or eliminate Social Security and Medicare.,

The elimination of Roe v Wade despite the “justices” claims of respecting precedent, is just the beginning. Thomas and other Repubs have already openly talked about eliminating protections for birth control and same-sex marriage. Thomas even says that SCOTUS should not have passed Brown versus Board of Ed which trashed the ridiculous “separate but equal”.

Big Biden story of the weekend is that he froze on stage in front of a celebrity crowd. I watched it from several different angles and to be fair it seemed like he was more like lost in the moment with all the applause, bright lights and cheering from the celebrities. No doubt he and Obama were supposed take a few steps forward wave to the crowd then turn and walk off stage. So Biden took a few extra minutes basking in the adulation because he rarely has those kind of crowds. Obama obviously felt the moment had gone on too long, took Joe by the arm and gently guided him off stage while keeping a steadying hand on him. Not the best of optics but these moments keep piling up. Who knows, If Obama had waited a few more seconds, Biden may have turned on his own and the both of them would have exited stage left. Doubtful but possible.
