Pass. Go out for some real food like steak or fish, leave him to eat his own … whatever that is.

I make a batch of hummus every week. My wife takes it to work each day — tried store bought stuff and hated it, but she likes mine. That is her preferred lunch, and who am I to argue? Besides, I like it, too. And no, I do not stomp on the chickpeas.

Hummus with a good olive oil, lemon and fresh lebanese bread. Some people just don’t understand how good it is.

Oh and have you tried the eggplant humus ?

And he’s saving time too. He’ll wash his after he’s finished stomping.

A good blender or, better yet, a Cuisinart food processor works much better.

A definite homage to the famous stomping grapes episode from I Love Lucy.

There is at least one blender in the back of the cabinets, somewhere.

Humus is especially good if you eat it right off the forest floor. At least, that’s what my pal Charlie the Ape says.

    Oh … what … hummus?

Next he’ll “Open sesame!” so he can add the tahini.
