Elon Musk will continue to pay very little in taxes. The Repubs already have plans for more tax cuts for the wealthy and corporations, and they will “cut spending” by reducing (eliminating?) Social Security and Medicare.
Never could understand statements like EOW’s. “The left” does not all think the same way, to try and get all Dems to agree has been described as “herding cats”. Some people really like what Musk was doing with electric cars, but Teslas have turned out to be quite problematic. Then there was his “pedo” comment because the rescuers in Thailand didn’t want his “help” because he wanted to use a submarine in a cave. Plenty of reasons NOT to like Musk.
The USA has a severe problem with political influence by wealthy individuals, so giving obscene amounts to an individual, who didn’t even perform well for shareholders is not necessarily a wise move.
The pay package was put together when the company had a worth of under 10 billion. To earn to money, Musk had to increase the value of the company to 860 billion – a huge amount of benefit to workers and shareholders.
Tesla. Truth Social. What’s the third “T” stock whose owners of individual stock are in love with the “BIG GUY” they can’t give away their money fast enough?
That man is a pathetic disgrace. Just another spoiled rich kid with more money and toys than anyone deserves. How anyone could admire him is beyond me. SMH.
