you lost me at “positive” honestly

To think Andy could be a motivational speaker is like thinking a cat could fly.

Now this job has potential for humor. The most demotivated man encourages others to be motivated.

He consistently motivates others to by him pints.

You lost him at “Ah”!

You need the patience of Job to handle Andy.

Nothing positive in it for Andy!

He was lost before he even entered the building…. He was looking for the pub next door ;-)

Admittedly, Andy does have good qualifications and quite a bit of experience for that position from caging free pints from the blokes at The Rose and Crown as well as using his physical motivation to win over opposing players on the pitch. Andy is a regular Zig Ziegler, he is.

Motivating all men on cadging, drinking, gambling, and napping. All hail CAPP

Andy was puzzled – Do you know “who” you’re talking too? Job?

The one word thar escapes his memory……..

Motivational speaker, aka, grifter, aka mooch.

Donno — Capp does a pretty good job at motivating Flo to stay working and supporting him. Might be a good fit.

If Motivational speaking means motivating people to buy him beers, then he’s a shoe in.

I won’t mention his name ( for fear of being sued ) but I knew an individual, who became well-known as a motivational speaker. He took up that career because he’d quit or got fired from every job he’d ever had.

I was one of several bosses who’d fired him because he was lazy and had sticky fingers.

Preachers, pitchmen, and motivational speakers are the perfect occupations for con artists.

This guy should say, “work or no stipends!”

He has a job avoiding work, and he gets paid for it.

Face Andy has been a mooch of the state his whole life

If anything, he could teach people how he cadges for free beer, so the people will know how NOT to do it.

What positive energy?

He motivates people to stay far away from him.

Andy Capp became popular at a time when socialism in the U.K. had reached a peak. The economy was down and “being on the dole” was just another lifestyle choice. Andy never got out of that mental state.
