I never wore sweater vests. Didn’t like them then, I don’t like them now.

I fear a retro shortage, given people’s reduced attention spans.

The past was prime!

I have a pair of jeans that I’ve had paisley cuffs sewn on. I get all kinds of compliments about it, I don’t tell them I used to wear jeans with those types of cuff when they were original in the 60’s and 70’s. Ssh! Old people aren’t supposed to be cool.

Sure like to know original posting date. If she is wearing 80s clothes it makes the mom about her mothers age

I wear the same clothes now that I’ve always worn. Couldn’t care less about fashion!

I found a “vintage” sub on Reddit, and was shocked to discover that 80s is considered vintage. Talk about feeling old!

Kind reminder that this comic is ancient. 1996. That’s 28 years ago. Even 1970 was closer to this comic than it is to today.

“I have seen the past, and it is me.”

And I’m proud of it.

For me I had to get rid of close back then, gained too much weight.

I knew I was getting older when the elevator musak started being my own very favorite tunes.
